I can offer a block of 6 sessions, helping you understand and learn how to overcome Narcissistic Abuse. These can be in-person sessions if you live in East Sussex, but I also offer zoom sessions if this is better suited to your situation.
I offer a non-judgmental and supportive environment that is excellent for going through the motions of the healing process in your own time. Knowing there is a person who’s here for you, no matter what, and believes in you is invaluable. Consistency is key when it comes to healing.
It’s crucial when dealing with a narcissist to remember that it was never YOUR fault.
Narcissism is the human experience of feeling important, needing admiration and attention and wanting success and love. It’s hard to heal after being in a relationship with a Narcissist. Narcissistic Abuse is TRAUMA and many may not even know they have been victimised this way. This often presents as emotional abuse, coercive control, financial abuse, gaslighting, co-dependency and often a trauma bond which feels like love.
Narcissism is a personality disorder is a mental condition by which a person has an inflated sense of their own importance. Typically, a narcissist has a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubles relations, and a lack of empathy for others. Behind this facade of confidence lies a low self-esteem, which is extremely fragile.
Narcissists tend to believe that they are unique and superior to others, and therefore expected to be treated as such. They are often unable to consider the feelings of others and act incredibly selfishly at others’ expense. This can make it seem impossible to have any sort of relationship with a narcissist as they are simply incapable of understanding or relating to how you feel.
A true narcissist will blame others for their behaviour. If you’ve been victimised, remember it happened to you, not because of YOU.
